THE COMPANY
Berceau des Rois, established in 2011 by Armel Laminsi, is a major player in the childcare sector in France. The company is renowned for its eco-responsible practices and educational approach based on autonomy. Le Berceau des Rois has grown rapidly, managing around 60 establishments, mainly in the Paris region.
As for Les P'tits Babadins, launched in 2009 by Paul-Arnaud Maigre, it represents around 120 micro-crèches, offering top-of-the-range services for young children.
THE TRANSACTION
As part of its expansion and consolidation strategy, Berceau des Rois has acquired Les P'tits Babadins, making it a leader in the French microcare market.
The deal, worth over €20 million, was carried out with the financial support of Adaxtra Capital and Alantra Private Debt.
This merger, completed in less than nine months, will enable the Berceau des Rois to strengthen its presence with a combined network of more than 180 micro-crèches.
It also highlights a trend towards consolidation in the French childcare sector.
